Questions about the comparison
Is Plaud suitable for company meetings?
Plaud processes recordings in the cloud. For EU accounts it names an AWS data centre in Frankfurt and models from the GPT, Claude and Gemini families. If meeting content must not leave the company, you need a solution that runs on your premises.
Does Otter transcribe Slovak or Czech?
No. According to its help centre, Otter transcribes English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Simplified Chinese.
Can Teams transcribe a meeting in Slovak?
Yes, Teams meeting transcription supports Slovak and Czech. Recap with summaries is part of Teams Premium or the Microsoft Copilot licence and is processed in Microsoft’s cloud. You can also upload a Teams recording to Arminius AI Porady.
Is there meeting transcription without the cloud?
Yes. Arminius AI Porady runs on an appliance in your company: audio, transcript and minutes stay in your network and processing needs no internet.
How much does Plaud cost?
According to the EU price list, Starter is free with 300 minutes a month, Pro costs €19.99 a month or €110.99 a year and Unlimited €34.99 a month or €224.99 a year. The recorder is bought separately. Arminius AI Porady is paid once, with the appliance.
